 Hay Cider Fest is back for 2026 - bigger, brighter, and bubbling over with the very best of the local drinks scene! Nestled in the centre of Hay-on-Wye during the Hay Literary Festival, you're invited to join us for a day of sipping, sampling, and soaking up all of the good stuff.

The Cider and Perry Line-Up

We're thrilled to offer a  handpicked selection of brilliant producers from England and Wales! All of them making their produce with love, all of them using proper fruit and proper methods. They'll be on hand to chat, pour, and celebrate the best of cider and perry. For the full line-up, scroll down.

The Hay Cider Competition

 At the heart of our fest sits the Cider Competition. We'll be modernising our cider comp with some daft categories! Want to know the best cider to drink at the top of Hay Bluff? It'll be handpicked by our head judge (Hi, Gary) and his panel. Full timings will be released nearer the time!

Music, Food & Great Vibes

We know that it's not just about the pour. We'll have:

• Live music throughout the day

• Beers, wines, and spirits

• Artisan soft drinks

• Local street-food and produce

• Gifts and creatives that show-off the best local talent

Plenty of space to sit, chat, and let the day unfold!

A Properly Family-Friendly Fest​

This is a festival for everyone! We'll have a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere with food, soft drinks, and loads to explore beyond the bar. Whether you're coming with friends, little ones, or just you're curiosity - you'll be so welcome.

This is a festival by the community, for the community. Everything here has grown from the local area - from producers to traders - with an emphasis on sustainability and top-quality.
