Lemongrass is a bit of a wonder-herb. It's unmatched in it's ability to calm the senses - according to a 2011 study published in Evidence-Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine, the eugenol that’s in lemongrass oil impacts neurotransmitter serotonin and blood-platelet action. Both of these cause headaches. It also combats bacteria and eases inflammation. This couples with the effects of ylang ylang which does all of this whilst speeding up skin healing.
