Events & Experiences
Throughout the year we host a collection of small, friendly events here on the farm. Some are peaceful, some are adventurous, some involve excellent food cooked over a fire, and all come with gentle laughter in the hills.
Whether you'd like to learn a new skill, spend time under some of the darkest skies in Wales, or simply switch off for a few hours, we'd love to welcome you.
Dates are released throughout the year on our Events page, so keep an eye out!
dark skies evenings

With very little light pollution, our farm becomes one of the best places to experience the incredible night skies of the Bannau. Join us as we explore constellations, mythology, wildlife after dark and the peaceful stillness that only arrives once everyone else has gone home.
Wrap up warm, bring your curiosity, and we'll provide the hot drinks.
Perfect for photographers, families, romantics, amateur astronomers, and anyone who simply needs reminding how wonderfully enormous the universe is.
Expect:
-
Stargazing
-
Stories and mythology
-
Hot drinks around the fire
-
Seasonal astronomy
-
Wildlife listening
-
Plenty of "wow" moments
wild women's mindful gatherings

These gentle sessions are designed as a chance to reconnect with yourself through nature.
No experience needed and no pressure to "achieve" anything. Just time spent outdoors, lcrafting, rewinding, sharing stories, eating good food and letting the woodland do what woodland does best.
Each event is different (depending on our Welsh weather!) but activities may include:
-
Flower crown making
-
Forest bathing
-
Willow weaving
-
Herbal walks
-
Aromatherapy
-
Storytelling
-
Campfire cooking
-
Seasonal teas
-
Gentle guided walks
Come on your own or bring a friend! Many people arrive as strangers and leave having made new ones.

Learn practical woodland skills in a relaxed, welcoming environment!
Whether you're completely new to bushcraft or simply fancy an afternoon outside, these sessions are all about building confidence and enjoying the outdoors.
We'll cover a variety of traditional skills before gathering around the fire to cook and eat together because, let's be honest, everything tastes better outdoors.
Depending on the season, sessions may include:
-
Fire lighting
-
Shelter building
-
Safe knife skills
-
Woodland navigation
-
Foraging (where appropriate)
-
Campfire cooking
-
Outdoor baking
-
Nature awareness
-
You'll leave smelling faintly of smoke, which is generally considered a badge of honour!
